I made this from the Simplicity pattern 4092 with brocade fabric. It took somewhere over 40 hours to complete. I wore it for prom (my date had colonial garb). The panniers give me superhuman hips.

Aw, this is very cute! I wish I could find a guy that would wear colonial garb with me to a prom! haha I plan on making my dress for my prom this year, too.
